The MWRA’s Metropolitan Operations is continuing its FY23 Valve Exercising Program. This maintenance program includes the exercising of main lines, blow offs, and air valves along our pipeline sections. Excavation of paved surfaces will not be necessary for this program. During the month of April 2023 MWRA personnel will perform the above referenced maintenance work on various MWRA water mains including MWRA Sections 19, 20, 52, 58, 105, and 106, as well as the Fisher Hill Lines, Walnut Street Line and Warren & Cottage Line. This work may create discolored water and is not expected to make any pressure losses at the meters listed below. Discolored water may be anticipated for three days after the work is completed.
