Water Main Flushing in Chinatown, South End and Roxbury. Please be advised BWSC will be conducting water main flushing in Chinatown, South End and Roxbury. Starting September 1st, 2020 through October 12, 2020 between the hours of 10pm-6am. This process may cause discolored water and/ or a reduction in water pressure. Discoloration of water is temporary and not harmful. We recommend running your cold tap water for a few minutes until pressure is restored, and water runs clear. If conditions persist, please contact BWSC's 24 Hour Service at (617) 989-7000.
