Heat Emergency

Mayor Wu declared a heat emergency in Boston beginning Saturday through Sunday. Cooling centers will be open at 15 BCYF community centers on Saturday and Sunday, and splash pads will be open at parks and playgrounds throughout the City.

BWSC congratulates Adriana Cillo our Educational Programs Coordinator, the 2021 recipient of the New England Water Environment Association’s Youth Educator’s Award. The ceremony was held today at NEWEA’s annual conference. We are proud of her work with the schools in Boston.
