The MWRA’s Metropolitan Operations is beginning its FY 2027 Valve Exercising Program. This maintenance program includes the exercising of main lines, blow offs, and air valves along our pipeline sections. Excavation of paved surfaces will not be necessary for this program.
This work may create discolored water and is not expected to make any pressure losses at the meters listed below. Discolored water may be anticipated for three days after the work is completed.
