The MWRA’s Metropolitan Operations is continuing its FY25 Valve Exercising Program. This maintenance program includes the exercising of main lines, blow offs, and air valves along our pipeline sections. Excavation of paved surfaces will not be necessary for this program. During the month of September 2024 MWRA personnel will perform the above referenced maintenance work on various MWRA water mains including MWRA Sections 8, 37, 38, 57. Meter 3 and 64. This work may create discolored water and is not expected to make any pressure losses at the meters listed below. Discolored water may be anticipated for three days after the work is completed.
