Deer Island Cited for Top Performance
MWRA’s Deer Island Treatment Plant - which serves Boston and other communities in Eastern Massachusetts - has received the Platinum Peak Performance Award for 2020 from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA).
The award recognizes facilities for outstanding compliance of their National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit limits.
