DO NOT FLUSH WIPES - With reports of toilet paper shortages amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commission reminds customers that wipes, paper towels, facial tissue, and other materials – even those that claim to be “flushable” – are not designed to break down in the wastewater treatment process.
Mayor Walsh issues safety guidelines for residents ahead of cold weather. One way to stay ahead of the winter weather is by making sure your pipes are properly secured and insulated. One tip is to allow a slow trickle of water to flow through faucets connected to water pipes that run through unheated spaces.
