Temporary side entrance in effect

Attention BWSC Customers. Beginning Tuesday March 7th renovations will commence on the front entrance of 980 Harrison Ave. Therefore, there will be no accessibility to the building via the double doors until further notice. A temporary side entrance in order to conduct business will be made available. The temporary entrance is in compliance with ADA regulations and our security team will be stationed there to provide assistance as needed.

The MWRA’s Metropolitan Operations is continuing its FY 2022 Valve Exercising Program. This maintenance program includes the exercising of main lines, blow offs, and air valves along our pipeline sections. Excavation of paved surfaces will not be necessary for this program.

Beginning next week and continuing through the month of June 2022 MWRA personnel will perform the above referenced maintenance work on various MWRA water mains including MWRA Sections 2, 3, 4, 9, 31, 66, 67, and 86, as well as the Beacon St., Boylston St., Clinton Rd., Harvard St., and Mystic 24” lines. This work may create discolored water and is not expected to make any pressure losses at the meters listed below. Discolored water may be anticipated for three days after the work is completed.
