BWSC values diversity and inclusion. Recently the Board of Commissioners approved the formation of a Diversity Advisory Committee. The Committee is designed to advise the Commission as it works to:
- Foster an environment of inclusion and respect for all employees
- Ensure that diversity management practices are followed
- Promote workforce diversity initiatives
- Encourage career development
Committee members were nominated based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, their skills, education, and experience. The Committee is also designed to reflect the make-up of BWSC personnel.
